Exhibition of Elena Paroucheva in Bulgaria

Elena Paroucheva’s 2019 exhibition in Yambol, has been granted the Europe for Culture label. It comes from Paris and will be set in Yambol and Plovdiv (Bulgaria).

For her exhibition, she has been turning to the theme of Light, the topic of the anual event in Yambol.

Elena has entered the field of interactive art since her first artworks in Bulgaria. Going back to the origins of her concept, she creates artworks based on movement, transparency, repetition and light. She brings out the invisible and put the visible in the background. She plays with layers of tulle and transparency; drawn on the silhouette of a building element which she has been adopting for a long time – the lattice electric module, a message on the relationship human with the machine, and our dependence on technology..

One is surprised by the electric pylons which are drawn on soft cloths, the cottony clouds, or the suspended spheres.

Elena is inviting the viewer to enter her electric adventure, to see himself in the geometric reflective cutouts of the pylons, to complete a trap puzzle, to trigger movements and lights, and to twist constructions.
